Last week craziness

Thank you so much to our parent drivers today! The students had a great time skating.

Tomorrow morning at 9:00 am is our Homma for the Holidays dress rehearsal. Parents that are unable to come on Wednesday evening as well as other family members are welcome to attend.

We will perform on Wednesday evening between 6:30 and 7:00 pm. Students are asked to dress in formal wear for the performance. We are suggesting students wear blue, black and white. Also, if students have a Santa hat, they should wear it for the second song.

This week, students from division 16 will be selling boxes to raise money for the Red Cross Ebola Fund. Thank you to the students who are staying after school to help out.

Students will be exchanging secret Santa gifts on Friday. The maximum cost of this gift is $5.00. Students are also welcome to bring in some egg and nut free snacks to share with the class on Friday.

Thank you for all your support and have a lovely holiday,

Mme Munns

Cupcake Decorating Party

We will be joining both of our little buddy classes this Thursday for a cupcake decorating party. We will be decorating and eating our cupcakes, as well as doing some holiday crafts. We are required to bring in all our supplies. We will have a sign up sheet in the class for students to let us know if the can bring icing, sprinkles or candy.  We only need a small amount of decorations to share and not all students are required to bring something in. Additionally, we need two dozen cupcakes. If you are able to send your child in on Thursday with a dozen, please let me know. No nuts please.

Thank you so much for your support,

Mme Munns

A call for buttons and helpers

Division 16 will be making First Nation inspired button blankets on November 28th. If you could send some buttons (around 20) in with your child before next Thursday, that would be great. Also, we would really appreciate some volunteers to come in to help us sew our blankets on the 28th from 10:30-12:00.

Thank you so much for your support,

Mme Munns

Museum field trip

We will be visiting the Museum of Anthropology tomorrow.  Please remind your child to pack a lunch and wear a warm jacket.  We will be leaving as close to 8:45 am as possible, so please be on time. Depending on traffic, we might be a little late returning.  We should be back by 3:00 pm.

Thank you to the parents of Sebastian, Zachary, Connie, Konrad, AnAn, Jimmy and Damon for driving and supervising tomorrow.  Just a reminder that you need to fill out a Driver’s Permission Form found at the office. I will supply you with parking directions  and payment in the morning.

Looking forward to a great day.

Thank you for your support,

Mme Munns

Thank you

Thank you for handing in all the permission forms for our upcoming field trips.  This Wednesday will be a very busy day. We will have individual photos first thing in the morning, so don’t be late. We will leave shortly after 9 am to go to our first destination, the Reifel bird sanctuary. After our tour there we will have lunch and go to our second destination, O.W.L.

Thank you so much to our parent drivers and supervisors. I will provide maps to both locations. The following students have parents who are driving: Kimberly, Savanna, Joanna, Elyse, Jimmy, and Melissa.

Looking forward to a great day.

Don’t forget to dress appropriately.

Thank you,

Mme Muuns

Thank you so much for subscribing. This blog is principally a tool for students to access websites, as well as to check the homework page. I will also be using it to send communication home. I hope that you find it helpful.
